Strike-anywhere matches will leave natural marks on the surface. This is expected and part of the material’s character
Clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove residue
Dry thoroughly after cleaning and avoid the use of scrubbing pads
Brass will naturally develop a rich patina over time. For a brighter finish, use a brass polish as desired.
